The society organizes practical sessions every other Wednesday afternoon at the T.A.A.G. centre in Teignmouth. We use the studio space to explore different topics each session, under the guidance of an experienced fellow member. These sessions run from 1400-1600 and cost £2.50 per session for members. Non-members are also welcome for £3.50 per session.

Get back to basics with an afternoon of fun. Get drawing and explore ways to start drawing, aiming to loosen up and begin to look at what we are seeing.
|27th September 2017||Julia Vella – Felting
Learn the basic technique of felting or experiment with the technic of Nuno Felt Making. Last time Julia did this demo everyone was hesitant at the beginning, but all had a thoroughly enjoyable time, taking home really nice pieces of work.
|11th October 2017||Joyce and Felicity – Christmas Card
Be part of creating a Christmas card in our 2 hour session we aim to produce a piece of artwork by a ‘Famous Artist’, the finished work will be approx. 3′ x 4′. You can bring any medium to paint with (except oils). Paper will be provided. We shall then hopefully turn the finished piece into a Christmas card which members could order copies of.

This is an opportunity to try out pastels, Rob will supply a picture to work from and will guide you through the process. If you do not have pastels we will have some available to use.

Looking at how the sky influences water and how we can use different colours and tones to change the atmosphere. Also look at reflections on water and wet surfaces.
