Tuesday workshops

Workshops are at the mercy of Covid-19 and the following plans might be subject to short lockdowns or the Rule of 6. Please bear with us.

We organise practical sessions on alternate Tuesday afternoons during the autumn and winter months. See below how we are adapting for these Covid times.

We explore different topics each session, under the guidance of an experienced fellow member, a varied programme of workshops so bring your own sketch book and drawing materials. These run from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and are free for members, £3 for visitors.

While the TAAG centre in Teignmouth is undergoing renovations we will meet on Tuesday afternoons at Holcombe Village Hall. We have confirmed the dates as the second Tuesday of every month until March 2021. The dates are
Tuesday 8 December
Tuesday 12 January 2021
Tuesday 9 February
Tuesday 9 March

At the first meeting in September we discussed suggestions for future monthly themes and are creating a list of members willing to do a quick demonstration. Let Bee know if you are interested in facilitating a session or have ideas for future workshops.
Please let Bee know as soon as possible which sessions you wish to attend beeinch@hotmail.co.uk so that numbers do not exceed the limit for social distancing in the hall. We also need to be able to cancel the hall if not enough people are intending to come. The hall is very large, but members will need to wear a mask throughout the session (unless there is a medical reason). We will open as many windows as the weather allows. Members should bring their own hand gel. For transport enquiries or a copy of the Covid-19 guidelines for Holcombe Village Hall contact Sarah on 07751 795188 or art20sagar@gmail.com.
No acrylics or oil paints can be used, as the kitchen is closed and it is not permitted to use the toilet area to wash brushes and palettes, or tip away dirty paint water. There are no facilities for making drinks, so members must bring their own refreshments.
A register of attendees with phone numbers will be taken at the beginning of each session.
