Workshops have been at the mercy of Covid-19 but we do have some hopeful bookings for our TAS members, listed below. Please bear with us as things evolve.
In ordinary times we organise practical sessions on alternate Tuesday afternoons during the autumn and winter months. We trust the current ‘interesting times’ will one day be a thing of the past.
We explore different topics each session, under the guidance of an experienced fellow member, a varied programme of workshops so bring your own sketch book and drawing materials. These run from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and are free for members, £3 for visitors.
While the TAAG centre in Teignmouth undergoes renovations we have been meeting on Tuesday afternoons at Holcombe Village Hall. These workshops are provisional as we enter 2021, but we will keep this page updated. We have booked Holcombe Village Hall for:
14 and 21 September 2021
12 and 19 October 20201
9 and 16 November 2021
14 and 21 December 2021
11 and 18 January 2022
8 and 15 February 2022
8 and 15 March 2022
The following safety information may well be in force again, with Bee taking names of which sessions members wish to attend email@example.com so that numbers do not exceed any limit for social distancing in the hall. We may also need to cancel the hall if not enough people are intending to come. The hall is very large, but members will need to wear a mask throughout any session (unless there is a medical reason). We will open as many windows as the weather allows. Members should bring their own hand gel. For transport enquiries or copy of the Covid-19 guidelines for Holcombe Village Hall contact Sarah firstname.lastname@example.org.
Unless rules change no acrylics or oil paints will be used, as the kitchen is closed and it is not permitted to use the toilet area to wash brushes and palettes, or tip away dirty paint water. There are no facilities for making drinks, so members must bring their own refreshments. A register of attendees with phone numbers will be taken at the beginning of each session.
