TAS Artist Development Bursary
AIM
The scheme aims to help and encourage artists in the different stages of their artistic development.
WHO CAN APPLY
The bursaries are aimed at those who:
Are taking their first steps into developing their artistic practice
Returning to their artistic practice after a career break
Currently taking their artistic practice in a new direction
TERM
Applicants must be fully paid up members of the Teignmouth Art Society
The bursary support will last for a period of 12 months
At the end of the 12 month period the artists will be expected to present through a talk, an exhibition or a written report their experiences and the benefits of the bursary
HOW TO APPLY
The application must be by email to tasbursarycommittee@gmail.com
Include a relevant CV outlining your artistic journey and three images /examples of your work to support your application
Attach a supporting letter of up to 500 words to include:-
Why you think you would benefit from a bursary
What you hope to achieve with the bursary
What are your artistic goals for the next two years
Applications will be accepted twice a year, during the period 1st January to 30th June and 1st July to 31st December.
All applications will be considered by the bursary committee and their decisions announced within 30 days of the application by email

Exposure at the TAS exhibitions by the use of bursary signage
